The Friendship Line, a phone counseling and outreach program, is open to adults
60 and over. This service is free of charge and is a 24-hour
crisis and support line for seniors needing to talk for any reason. The
Friendship Line is a service of the National Institute on Aging, Center for
Elderly Suicide Prevention and provides compassionate counseling, assessment and
crisis intervention.
